April is here!

Hey JD family,

It feels like we are finally entering into true spring weather and we are all for it. We do our best to keep you informed on all the fun events and things going on at JD through these newsletters so be sure to scroll all the way through. I am going to include a few details here in the introduction that are coming up in the next week! 👇🏻

🧘🏽‍♀️Yoga w/ Jordan: Sunday, April 7th at 10:00am. Please bring your own mat - we have about 10 to loan out. This class if only on the first Sunday of each month. 

🤰🏽Navigating Pregnancy and Postpartum Fitness: Monday, April 8th 8:45am. Ladies please join us as Dr. Caitlin Ford of Elevate Physical Therapy and Wellness guides us through the basics of the core and pelvic floor. Stay for or the 9:30am class after to apply your new skills. Childcare is available for the workshop as well as the 9:30am class - please reserve your spot!

💪🏼Programming Reminder: Each month we switch the days designated for specific muscle groups to allow for more variety in certain classes. 

  • M/W/F: Lower body focus

  • T/Th: Upper body focus

  • Saturday: Full body

We have finally added to our Wednesday schedule!

  • 5:30 am - Lift w/ Ashley

  • 6:30am - Lift w/ Ashley

  • 9:30am - Glutes + Abs w/ Tawnie

  • 12:00pm - Lift w/ Ashley

  • 4:00pm - Glutes + Abs w/ Tawnie

  • 5:15pm - Glutes + Abs w/ Tawnie


🏋🏽‍♀️ Lift: 60 minute weightlifting class with a different format than our HIIT classes. You can expect time and direction to build up in weight and perfect your form on specific compound movements. This class is limited to 18 people as we have limited equipment!

🍑 Glutes + Abs: Bringing back our Booty Wednesday to hit the posterior chain and core! You're going to build up a sweat regardless, but you can expect more strength trainng than cardio within this hour.

Free week is a great opportunity for your friends and family to try out JD. There are no strings attached! They can come to as many classes as they'd like to try out different trainers and get to know our incredible community. We were kicked out of our JD Elite's facebook page over a year ago (long story - not getting it back) and this has hindered our ability to promote JD through ads and events. As a small business we heavily depend on word of mouth through our members. Thank you in advance for all your help in growing our community!

Excited to have our second annual Strong as a Mother Yoga + Pop-Up Shop here at the gym! This event is open to everyone. Our intention behind it is to celebrate the strong women in your life. Treat yourself, grab a friend or bring your very own mother as we enjoy a morning of yoga, finger foods, mimosas + coffee and shopping! 💛
